I grew up in a church-going family, for which I am grateful. But if memory serves me well, what I often heard from the pulpit was only a “half gospel.” Yes, I heard a lot about “believing in Jesus” but little about sin and repentance and the righteousness of God. On hope and healing

Psalms 147:3 says “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” I like this because knowing that God is there when I need him the most is very comforting. I say this because there is something I like about that I have been dealing with for basically my whole life. And that is depression.
