From staff reports LEWISTOWN — Trinity Plastics, a Lewistown-based manufacturing facility and part of Inteplast Group’s IBS Division, has been recognized with the Integrity in Business Award from the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during a chamber dinner and ceremony held May 13 in Mifflintown. Trinity Plastics produces trash bags and can liners, food wraps, bags and containers, as well as T-shirt and carry-out bags. The company also operates a sister facility in Pueblo, Colorado. Beaver Avenue closure scheduled for construction

From staff reports STATE COLLEGE — A section of Beaver Avenue in State College will be closed beginning June 8 to allow for construction activities related to a residential building project, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. PennDOT said Route 26 (Beaver Avenue) will be closed between Atherton Street and Burrowes Street starting Monday, June 8, as a crane is staged on the roadway for the project.
