LEWISTOWN — Trinity Plastics, a Lewistown-based manufacturing facility and part of Inteplast Group’s IBS Division, has been recognized with the Integrity in Business Award from the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The award was presented during a chamber dinner and ceremony held May 13 in Mifflintown. Trinity Plastics produces trash bags and can liners, food wraps, bags and containers, as well as T-shirt and carry-out bags. The company also operates a sister facility in Pueblo, Colorado.
IBS Division President Ronnie Chang credited the Trinity team for its workplace culture and commitment to employees.
“Trinity has built a workplace culture grounded in integrity, inclusion, respect and opportunity — values that embody Inteplast Group’s corporate culture at its best,” Chang said. “Their commitment to supporting employees and strengthening the local community makes this honor well deserved while helping position Trinity as an employer of choice in the region.”

Human Resources Manager Kathy Hatch accepted the award on behalf of the plant.
“This award is a reflection of our people,” Hatch said. “Under the leadership of our Plant Manager Matt Cram and the management team, we have focused on building a culture centered on safety, continuous improvement, respect, growth and opportunity. We are proud of what our employees have accomplished together.”
According to the chamber, the Integrity in Business Award recognizes businesses and organizations that demonstrate honesty, fairness, ethical business practices and concern for employees and customers.
Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Rhonda Kelley said Trinity Plastics was a deserving recipient.
“Their willingness to build and support a diverse workforce representing multiple countries, while successfully navigating language barriers, speaks volumes about their inclusive culture and leadership,” Kelley said. “Coupled with their efforts to strengthen employee retention and foster a positive workplace environment, Trinity Plastics continues to set a high standard for businesses across our region.”
Plant Manager Matt Cram said the recognition reflects the efforts of employees throughout the organization.
“The effort needed to receive this award truly should be shared by all,” Cram said. “We would not be in the position that we are in if we didn’t get buy-in from all team members. We are proud to embrace and accept the diverse cultures that represent Trinity Plastics. Together we are stronger.”
