Allensville shop asks customers to look up

ALLENSVILLE — The way Ben Swarey explains it, the shop began with a $30 telescope. He found it at a local thrift and gift store. He had already been interested in astronomy, but that telescope gave the interest a place to go. He looked up, saw more above him than most people noticed, and kept going. Community rallies around boy injured in alligator attack

MIFFLINTOWN — A Juniata County family is facing an unimaginable challenge after a vacation in Florida turned into a life-altering tragedy when 11-year-old Brodie Dituri was seriously injured in an alligator attack. The incident occurred on June 27 while the family was vacationing in Seminole County, Fla., and officials said the attack happened at Nelson Fish Camp.
