July 4: Barbecue Chicken Sale
Juniata Little Indians Football and Cheer will hold a barbecue chicken sale starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, at the Point Service Station in Port Royal. A bake sale will also be held, with all proceeds to benefit Brodie.
July 28: Dinner Benefit for Brodie
The Mifflin County Eagles 12-under travel baseball team will host a dinner benefit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28 at Birch Hill Events, 1100 Pine St., Burnham. $25 suggested donation. Venmo: @mceagles-primo (please include number attending and dine-in/out in memo). Cash: pay at entry (please RSVP to Allison at allibustin@gmail.com).

A GoFundMe page with the title, “Support Brodie’s Recovery After Alligator Attack,” had been set up with a goal of $15,000. As of Thursday afternoon, a total of $10,615 had been raised. An anonymous $5,000 donation was the largest to date.
