One charged after two-vehicle crash in McVeytown McVEYTOWN — One man was charged as a result of a two-vehicle accident in Bratton Township on Saturday, June 13 just before 9:30 a.m. The State Police report states that David Lucci, 65, of Lewistown, was operating a 2018 Toyota Tacoma on River Road near the intersection with East John Street in McVeytown. Lucci did not stop his vehicle at the stop sign and proceeded to strike a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Terry Sunderland, 59, of McVeytown. John Street railroad crossing closing Monday

CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Norfolk Southern plans to close their crossing along Route 3014 (John Street) in the Village of Mattawana, Bratton Township, on Monday, June 29. The closure will allow them to replace the crossing surface, which will improve rail infrastructure, ride quality, and enhance safety for motorists.
