Field surveys for State College Area Connector begin next week

STATE COLLEGE — Field survey work for the proposed State College Area Connector Project is scheduled to begin the week of July 6, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. PennDOT said members of the project’s design team will conduct field reconnaissance and collect data along the project’s preferred alternative route. Centre County man indicted on child sexual abuse material conspiracy charge

From staff reports STATE COLLEGE — A Centre County man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a charge of conspiracy to produce child sexual abuse material, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced. Morris W. Reese, 65, was charged in an indictment returned Tuesday. According to U.S. Attorney Brian D. Miller, Reese is accused of conspiring with others to produce child sexual abuse material between November 2024 and November 2025.
