From staff reports

STATE COLLEGE — A Centre County man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a charge of conspiracy to produce child sexual abuse material, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced.

Morris W. Reese, 65, was charged in an indictment returned Tuesday.

According to U.S. Attorney Brian D. Miller, Reese is accused of conspiring with others to produce child sexual abuse material between November 2024 and November 2025.

The case was investigated by the FBI, Pennsylvania State Police and the Centre County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alisan V. Martin is prosecuting the case.

If convicted, Reese faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison, followed by a term of supervised release and a fine. The final sentence would be determined by a federal judge after considering applicable sentencing laws and the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines.

An indictment is an allegation. Reese is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
