Mystery dinner held for professionals Nov. 17

MIFFLINTOWN — The Juniata County Business and Professional Women will host “A Night of Intrigue, Mystery, and Networking” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Walker Grange, 6611 William Penn Highway. PennDOT to unveil plans for roundabout in Lewistown

LEWISTOWN — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will host a public meeting Nov. 2 to present plans for a project that would remove two bridges and construct a roundabout at the intersection of South Juniata and East Charles streets in Lewistown. LEWISTOWN — Chief Academic Officer Steven DeArment said Thursday that his office received a grant contract worth up to $853,352 to support structured literacy from kindergarten through third grade in the Mifflin County School District.
