Lewistown man jailed on assault charges

LEWISTOWN — A Lewistown man is facing multiple felony charges after police allege he fired a handgun into an occupied residence during a domestic dispute early Sunday morning. Paul Anthony Goldenbaum, 46, was charged with five counts of aggravated assault, five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, aggravated cruelty to animals, three counts of simple assault and five counts of recklessly endangering another person. Severe thunderstorm watch issued by National Weather Service

STATE COLLEGE — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for 15 counties in Pennsylvania. Counties include Mifflin, Huntingdon, Bedford, Cameron, Clinton, Lycoming, Somerset, Blair, Centre, Fulton, Sullivan, Cambria, Clearfield, Potter and Tioga.
