MIFFLINTOWN — Juniata County Commissioners approved the 2027 resignation of Juniata County Voter Registrar/Director of Elections Eva Weyrich on Tuesday morning. Effective as of the end of business on Dec. 31, 2027, Weyrich will step down from her position. She will have been a director for roughly 40 1/2 years by the time she retires next year. PennDOT places speed display board on Route 144
From staff reports BOGGS TOWNSHIP — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has placed a radar-controlled speed display board along Route 144 in Boggs Township, Centre County, to remind motorists to obey the posted speed limit. The board faces southbound traffic between Governor’s Road and Doe Ridge Lane, about 4¼ miles south of Snow Shoe Borough. The speed limit in the area is 55 mph.
