According to a press release from the Juniata Valley Bank, the bank hosted a Pennsylvania Bankers Roundtable with Sen. Dave McCormick to discuss the key role that state banks play as ‘anchors of economic opportunity.' The release stated that bankers voiced concerns about loopholes in the Stablecoin/Genius Act legislation, among other concerns, at the roundtable featuring 18 community bank CEOs.
