LEWISTOWN — While it’s not a Festival of Ice without the ice sculptures, the magic of the holidays in downtown Lewistown is certainly captured by the local sounds of music on Dec. 4-5.
Organizers believe this year’s theme — Christmas Candyland — will bring the streets to life with whimsical ice sculptures, candy-themed décor, live entertainment and family-friendly fun.
Don’t miss Santa’s Workshop, where kids can shop for gifts, meet Santa, and even visit live reindeer. Enjoy wagon rides, food trucks, artisan vendors, live nativity, and plenty of festive photo ops. Explore this charming small-town celebration that draws thousands each year and captures the heart of a classic Christmas–sweet, sparkling, and full of wonder. And, of course, the music.
“Christmas music gets everyone in the holiday spirit, and the Festival of Ice will have plenty to go around,” Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau Executive Director Jenny Barron Landis said. “And there will be two opportunities to sing along.”
This year’s 27th festival features a great lineup of live performers and the time and location where they will take the stage:
