Man injured when riding mower goes over embankment

Yeagertown Fire Department arrived just after 5 p.m., when they found the person had gone down the embankment at the edge of Kish Creek.
Yeagertown Deputy Chief Justin Fultz said firefighters descended the bank with equipment to cut a path back up over. He said they used a stokes basket and a 4-to-1 rope haul system configuration to extricate the patient up over the 100-plus foot steep embankment.
Once extricated on top of the embankment, the person was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
