Soil fertility and garden layout the topic of Penn State Extension webinar

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State Extension is offering a webinar, “Living on a Few Acres: Soil Fertility and Garden Layout,” March 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

This session is designed for beginning producers or homesteaders and for those looking to become more self-sufficient or take the first step in creating a product.

Presenters will guide attendees through interpreting soil samples, understanding pH and nutrient needs and planning for optimal growth.

Participants must register by 6 p.m. March 13 to receive the link to access the live webinar. A $5 registration fee accompanies the event. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recording.
