Vehicle strikes deer in Fermanagh Township
MIFFLINTOWN — No injuries were sustained in a vehicle crash that occurred at 8:49 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 in Fermanagh Township, when a 2013 Toyota 4 Runner struck a deer.
According to Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, Thomas Barlett, 59, of Reedsville, was traveling on U.S. 322 east at the Arch Rock Road exit when a deer ran onto the roadway in front of the vehicle. The report says Bartlett had no time to react and struck the deer, sustaining disabling damage to the vehicle, which had to be towed from the scene by Parson’s Towing.
