Harshbargers celebrate 50th anniversary

Gary and Linda (Miller) Harshbarger renewed their wedding vows in celebration of their 50th anniversary on March 5, 2016, at the Ryde United Methodist Church, where they are members.Pastor Brian Myfelt officiated, and Donna Ranck was organist. Millers celebrate 50th anniversary

Donald and Hazel Miller, of Longfellow, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.They were married April 19, 1966.They are the parents of two children, Lori Miller, of Bellwood, and Sherri Stewart, of Mattawana.They have five grandchildren, Justin, Courtnie and Rachel Replogle, Noah and Elizabeth Stewart.They have one great-granddaughter, Shae Olivia Replogle.Donald is retired from Conrail and served in the U.S. Army in occupied Japan after World War II.Hazel worked several jobs, including at Kline's Market, while raising their daughters.

Card shower to mark 50th anniversary

The family of Charles and Shirley Saner, of Thompsontown, is hosting a card shower for the couple, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 9.The Saners were married in the Richfield Mennonite Church by Rev. Bells celebrate 50th anniversary

Don and Pam Bell recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.They were married on Jan. 15, 1966, by the Rev. Thomas J. Hopkins at the First United Methodist Church in Lewistown.Their special anniversary was celebrated with family and friends on Jan. 17 at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars. The party was hosted by their children and son-in-law, Mike Bell and Jennifer, and Gary Kibe, of Lewistown.They also have three grandchildren, Ethan and Bailey Kibe, and Rachel Bell.The Bells attribute their long and happy marriage to respect, love, faith and being best friends.

Gutshalls celebrate 50th anniversary

Wayne (Whitey) and Mary Gutshall celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 25, 2016.They met at the Pottawattamie County Fair in Avoca, Iowa, in July of 1965, while Wayne was stationed at the Treynor, Iowa, Missile Base. They were married in Omaha, Nebraska, on Feb. 25, 1966.Wayne and Mary transferred to Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland, where their first child, Stephanie, was born.
