Gary and Linda (Miller) Harshbarger renewed their wedding vows in celebration of their 50th anniversary on March 5, 2016, at the Ryde United Methodist Church, where they are members.
Pastor Brian Myfelt officiated, and Donna Ranck was organist. The Harshbarger sisters sang.
Sixty family members and friends attended the celebration.
A meal followed in the social room.
The couple was married March 3, 1966, in Newton Hamilton.
They are the parents of three daughters: Rhonda (Richard) Gibbons, Audra (John) Morrison, and Lynn (Steve) Gibson.
They have two granddaughters, Cierra (Nathan) Neil, and Kaylee (Mark) Hess; a grandson, Dakota Gibbons; a great-grandson, Brayden Hess; three stepgranddaughters; and a stepgreat-grandson.
They operated Harshbarger’s Store from 1967 to 2009.
Linda is a direct sales consultant, and enjoys reading, puzzles and crocheting. Gary enjoys NASCAR, football, hunting and watching westerns.
They enjoy spending time with their family, helping in their daughter’s restaurant and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.
