Stoll, Seahawks win Super Bowl LX off stellar special teams

UNIVERSITY PARK – Super Bowl LX featured two Penn State football alums on Sunday. Long snapper Chris Stoll and the Seattle Seahawks took home the Lombardi Trophy after a 29-13 win over offensive lineman Caedan Wallace and the New England Patriots.
Stoll helped the Seahawks’ special teams units to have a major impact in the Super Bowl. Stoll played 14 special teams snaps as long snapper.
Stoll aided Seahawks’ kicker Jason Myers to nail five field goals and two extra points, accounting for 17 total points.
On the punt unit, Stoll helped punter Michael Dickson to average 47.9 yards on seven punts, including three landing inside the 10.
Former Nittany Lion offensive tackle Caedan Wallace is a member of the New England Patriots’ practice squad and appeared in four games in December.
