Lions battle La Salle at Xfinity Mobile Arena

PHILADELPHIA – The Penn State men’s basketball team makes its return to the City of Brotherly Love on Nov. 15 to take part in the Basketball on Broad Autumn Invitational doubleheader inside Xfinity Mobile Arena. Penn State will face La Salle, while Syracuse and Drexel will also compete in the college basketball doubleheader inside the home of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Tipoff time and television broadcast designation will be announced at a later date.

Penn State and La Salle will meet for the sixth time in program history and the first time since 2013. The Nittany Lions won the most recent meeting, 79-72, on Nov. 19, 2013, in Happy Valley.

The Nittany Lions will play at Xfinity Mobile Arena for the second-straight year, after taking down Drexel 75-64 on Dec. 21, 2024, in the then-named Wells Fargo Center.

Penn State vs. La Salle will be the first of two games for the Nittany Lions against in-state foes inside professional arenas within the state. As previously announced, Penn State will face Pitt on Dec. 21 inside the GIANT Center in Hershey.

Penn State will enter its third season under head coach Mike Rhoades in 2025-26. Rhoades has laid a strong foundation during his first two seasons, and welcomes back a core group of returnees and a top-30 recruiting class for the 2025-26 season. Rhoades orchestrated the highest-scoring offense in Penn State history in 2024-25 as the Nittany Lions set a single-season program record with 79.1 points per game during his second season at the helm.

Starting at $2.99/week.
