HUMMELSTOWN — Mifflin County topped Lower Dauphin on Monday in girls basketball action, 36-22.

Payton Weaver posted 15 points to lead the Huskies and Lily Curry added eight points.

The JV Huskies beat the Falcons, 37-13.

Madison Peachey tallied 14 points and Lily Curry corralled eight.

The Huskies battle Mechanicsburg on Thursday.

Seals best Indians, 39-37

SELINSGROVE – Selinsgrove dropped Juniata in girls hoops on Monday, 39-37.

For Juniata, Mylee Landis had 19 points and Lindsea Gilson tacked on eight points.

For the Seals, Madi Merrell tallied 19 points and Maddy Benner added 10.

Juniata plays UDA on Thursday.

York downs EJ, 39-31

YORK — York Country Day beat East Juniata in girls hoops on Monday, 39-31.

For the Tigers, Landyn Cramer and Madison Snyder each had 10 points. Snyder had three triples in the loss.

Milan West had 12 points for York and Syra Robinson added 10.

EJ visits Millersburg on Thursday.

Indians tame Rams, 52-20

BLOOMSBURG — Juniata boys hoops beat CMVT on Monday, 52-20.

For the Indians, Jasper Shepps had 22 points and Ricky Guante added seven. Alex Armstrong added seven as well.

Wayne Goldsworthy had six points for the Rams.

Next, Juniata heads to UDA on Thursday.
