COCOLAMUS — Landyn Cramer scored a game-high 25 points and Carolyn Dressler added 13 points as East Juniata dominated Bellefonte in non-conference girls basketball action on Saturday, 60-35.
Cramer dropped in 12 points in the opening frame as the Tigers (8-8) grabbed a 16-11 Advantage. She added nine in the second as East Juniata upped its margin to 42-21 at the half. Dressler also added six in the second, with a pair of three-pointers. The Tigers outscored Bellefonte 16-14 in the second half to secure the win.
Kennedy Seigler-Lewis finished with nine points for East Juniata, while Talia Carter led Bellefonte with 11 points.

Landis helps Juniata corral Mustangs
MIFFLINTOWN — Mylee Landis scored a game-high 19 points and Lindsea Gilson added 13 points as Juniata rolled past visiting West Perry 51-39 in non-conference action on Saturday.
Juniata (10-6) grabbed a 17-11 lead in the opening quarter as Landis scored eight points early on. Gilson added a three-pointer as did Grace Reinhold. Campbell Zolak responded with eight of her 14 points in the second quarter as West Perry rallied with a 16-9 run to take a 27-26 at the half. Landis answered with four points in the frame.
In the third quarter, the Indians’ defense clamped down, holding West Perry to three points. That enabled Juniata to grab a 39-30 cushion. Gilson accounted for six of Juniata’s 13 points, while Landis added four. A 12-9 advantage in the fourth quarter put the game away for Juniata. Gilson finished the night with four points in the frame, while Landis and Aubryn Deihl each added three. Mariah Blumenschein scored 10 points for West Perry.
Juniata visits Greenwood tonight.
Mustangs no match for Selinsgrove
SELINSGROVE — Madi Merrell scored nine of her 32 points in the first quarter as host Selinsgrove raced to a 20-5 lead and never looked back in routing Midd-West 56-26 in a Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference Division 1 game on Saturday.
Merrell notched three of her six three-pointers during the opening frame. Maddy Benner scored all of her eight points in the first quarter. Julia Boop and Maddie Bonsall each had two points for the Mustangs (2-12, PHAC 0-5). Midd-West was outscored 14-8 in the second quarter as Merrell dropped in eight points, with a pair of treys, and Izzy Walter responded with five points for Midd-West.
The Seals outscored the Mustangs 22-13 in the second half to cruise to the win. Walter ended up with 10 points, while Bonsall added six. Midd-West visits Central Mountain on Wednesday.
Blacklick Valley blasts Belleville
BELLEVILLE – Mackenzie Kinter scored a game-high 16 points to lead Blacklick Valley to a 49-16 non-conference win over Belleville Christian School on Saturday.
Angie Deaver led the Thunder with four points, while Abby and Hailey each had three points. Belleville Christian hosts Walnut Street Christian today.

BOSTON, Mass. – Mifflin County runner Carter Smith finished second at the junior boys international male with a time of 4:02.71 at the 2026 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on Saturday.

Belleville boys cruise past Blacklick Valley
BELLEVILLE – Devin Yoder scored 13 points and Grant Yoder added 11 points as Belleville Christian School defeated Blacklick Valley 49-39 in non-conference action on Saturday.
Bryson Peachey had nine points and Collin Hartzler added eight points for the Thunder, which the entire game. All seven Thunder players, who saw action, scored. Eli Sheesley scored a game-high 17 points for Blacklick Valley. The Thunder host Northumberland Christian today.
Kopacki, Smith power Tigers past Buffs
NEWPORT – Sam Kopacki and Wrett Smith combined to score 19 of their 39 points in the first half to power the East Juniata Tigers to a 51-44 Tri-Valley League victory over Newport on Saturday.
Kopacki finished with 20 points, including four points in the first quarter and six in the second for the Tigers (8-10, TVL 4-7). Smith added six and three during that same span and ended up with 19 points. Trailing 14-13 after one quarter, the Tigers rallied to lead 30-22 at the half. East Juniata built the margin to 41-28 after three quarters.
Silas Strickhouser added eight points for the Tigers, who travel to Greenwood on Thursday.
Selinsgrove rolls past Midd-West
SELINSGROVE – Xaivier Jackson scored a game-high 19 points and Julian Torres added 13 points as Selinsgrove notched a 74-24 win in a Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference Division 1 action on Friday.
The Mustangs (2-13, PHAC 0-6) trailed 18-5 after the first quarter, 46-11 at intermission and never really got on track. Only three Midd-West players scored in the contest: D’zani Coley with 16 points, Hezekiah Prinsloo with six points and Casey Matthews with two.

Kanagy helps Huskies remain perfect
LEWISTOWN – Jemma Kanagy scored 21 points and Bella Yoder added 12 points as the Mifflin County girls ninth-grade basketball team improved to 16-0 with a victory over Lancaster Catholic on Saturday.
