LEWISTOWN – Palmyra didn’t need the entire night to decide this one. One half was enough. Palmyra controlled the midfield, owned much of the possession and found openings behind the Mifflin County defense with through balls Monday, scoring three times in the opening half of a 3-0 girls soccer victory. EAST LANSING, Mich. – Slow starts proved costly as No. 14 Penn State women’s volleyball fell 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19) to Michigan State in a Big Ten match Sunday afternoon at the Breslin Center. The Nittany Lions dropped to 9-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference, while the Spartans upped their record to 11-1, 1-1. LEWISBURG, Pa.– Under the lights of Monday Night Field Hockey, the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-4, 0-1 Big Ten) imposed their will over the Bucknell Bison (4-5, 0-2 Patriot) at Graham Field at Holmes Stadium, 3-0.
