Mifflin County assistant coach Todd R. Peters stated, “Both teams played a physical closely contested match with a half time score of 0-0. We both had some chances to sneak one in, but both defenses played hard. In the second half with 16:10 left, they broke through and crossed a ball that we believed was kept off the goal line, but they called it a goal. We were trying to see what communication was happening between head referee and linesman and still are unsure. Palmyra then came out even more aggressive after that goal, and we committed a foul to give them a penalty kick about a minute later. Brandt buried the kick to make it 2-0 but we still kept fighting…”
