To the editor:

Here I sit in the safety of my living room, watching Fox News, listening to their reports of what is happening in the Supreme Court (Roe V. Wade).

My simple little mind simply can’t comprehend what is wrong with the equally simple minds of so many Americans.

God created each and every one of us. He gave us a beautiful world in which to live. Do we live a life of appreciation or a life of greed and self deservedness?

I don’t know about everyone else but I truly do not believe that any of us deserve all that we have been given. We all started this life of ours in the womb of a woman, because of a union of a woman with a man. This is how God made us and blessed us in our union to have a family of our own. And this is a union called marriage and is a sacred union. If that sacred union is not there then there should not be any union of a man and a woman. We are all knowledgeable of that simple fact.

However, does everyone follow their knowledge or do they follow their desires and when they do they know what the results can be. Yes, that’s right, the results are the life of a person has been started. A new life has been the result of their own self-satisfaction.

Oh, well, they say, that is okay for they can just get an abortion. It might hurt a little but they had self-satisfaction in their own body at the time. And what if there is a life starting to grow inside her. We’ll just drop her off at the doctor’s office and we’ll get rid of this blob!

How do you think you came to be a part of God’s world? Why don’t you take a look in a mirror and ask yourself where you might be if your mother had done to you what you are doing to this child?

I guess I cannot stop there, for there are some unfortunate circumstances that can happen. And I am sure there could be a very important decision you would have to make at that time. If I am not mistaken there is a morning-after pill. This would be especially useful in cases of incest or rape.

There are pills to prevent pregnancy. Use them!

Remember, the choice is yours. Just remember, if you should be faced with a pregnancy, one choice is to give the little one a life — there are so many couples that want a child and are unable to have one. How happy and blessed they would be to give this little one love and a life to enjoy.

God would surely bless you for that decision.
