Lewis C. Johnson, 87, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at Greenwood Village. Born June 25, 1937, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Lewis R. and Mary Grace (Moyer) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Briggs; and brother-in-law, George Briggs. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Huffnagle) Johnson, whom he married July 27, 1974; two sons, Lewis R. Johnson, of York, Rex A. Carol J. (Kennedy) Bryner, 77, of Thompsontown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday Aug. 6, 2024 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. Born on Dec. 21, 1946 in Fayette Township, Juniata County, she is the daughter to the late Jay and Jesse (Strawser) Kennedy. On Aug. 15, 1964, she married her late husband Thomas E. Bryner, with whom she was blessed to share over 56 years of marriage before his passing on Dec. 20, 2020. Born Feb. 14, 1927, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Nettie (Reigle) Harbst. Her first husband, David L. Folk, preceded her in death in 1986.
