Kenneth Q. Berrier, 76, of Yeagertown, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at his home. Born Jan. 29, 1950, in Rockhill Furnace, he was a son of the late Donald Q. and Mary Louise (James) Berrier. Also preceding him in death was a brother, James D. Berrier. Surviving are: his wife, Carol L. (Harshbarger) Berrier, whom he married on Oct. 7, 1972; and a son, Thomas Q. Berrier, of Yeagertown. Mr. Berrier was a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1969 to 1971; stationed in Germany. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating ...

Christopher (Chris) Rice, of Port Royal, passed away Aug. 1, 2026, at his home. He was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Lewistown. He was the son of the late Melvin S. Rice and Christine Bell Rice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Samuel M. Rice. Chris is survived by his sister Mrs. Jennifer (George) Marshall, of Honey Grove, his brother, Matthew S.
