Trevor W. Pursel

Born Oct. 23, 1982, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Russell W. Pursel and Jean E. (Stonerook) Pursel, who survives him.

He was preceded in death by his father, as well as his maternal grandparents, Howard T. and Dorothy N. Stonerook; paternal grandparents, Russell C. Pursel and Betty J. Pursel Liddick; Aunt; Susan A. (Pursel) Bearley, and cousin, Avery J. Haubrick.

Trevor is survived by his mother, Jean E. (Stonerook) Pursel, and his sister, Jada L. Pursel, both of Lewistown. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Growing up he attended Pine Glen C&MA Church. As an adult he attended Paintersville C&MA Church.

Trevor graduated from Lewistown Area High School in 2001. He followed his love of reading to Eastern University where he received a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing.

Due to his love and compassion for others, this path led him to be employed lastly with SAM Inc.

We hope you honor Trevor by being kind to others, and laughing every day.

In accordance with Trevor’s wishes, no services will be held.

Memorial contributions in Trevor’s memory may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Geisinger School of Nursing.
