Clifford Glenn Long

Mr. Long was born in Bellefonte, on April 18, 1941. He was a son of the late Corman Glenn Long and Margaret Edna Grenoble Long. On Aug. 23, 1970, he married Patricia June McCool, who survives.

He was a graduate of Bellefonte High School in 1959, and the Pennsylvania State University in 1963 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was employed as a Construction Engineer by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until his retirement in 1994. Following his retirement from Penn DOT, Mr. Long was employed as a Construction Project Manager by T. W. Consultants, Inc. of Wexford, Pa., and later as a Construction Project Manager by the Maguire Group of Pittsburgh, Pa., until his final retirement in 2006.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Megan Margucci, of Boalsburg, and a son, David Long, of Mount Laurel, N.J. He is also survived by two granddaughters, and a grandson.

Inurnment will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday May 24, 2026 at Boalsburg Cemetery, with Pastor Andrew Morgan officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to King Funeral Home and Crematory, 47 Carriage House Lane, Reedsville PA 17084.
