Bradley A. Bankert
Bradley A. Bankert, 91, of Red Shale Lane, Lewistown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born July 27, 1934, in Hanover, he was a son of the late Albert M. and Pauline E. (Miller) Bankert. His wife, Mary I. (Kauffman) Bankert, whom he married Oct. 12, 1957, preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 2024.
Surviving are: four sons, Michael R. and wife, Lori, of Lewistown, Patrick N. and wife, Susan, of Sellersville, John M. and wife, Tammy, of Sellersville, James B. and wife, Michelle, of Perkiomenville; a sister, Sonya Bankert, of Hanover; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
He was employed as a grocery store manager for many years and later worked for Kraft Foods and Michael’s Sales and Service in Lewistown.
A member of the Pine Glen Alliance Church, he served as a church trustee and enjoyed hunting and camping with his friends.
A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
