Reba M. Harmon
Reba M. Harmon, 92, of Celebration Villa, Reedsville, formerly of Belleville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025.
She was born on July 17, 1933, in Belleville, to the late Russell and Mary (Warner) Baker. On June 5, 1954, she married James L. Harmon, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2018.
Surviving are children: Holly Cleck and husband, David, Jami Zook and companion, Michael Boring, James Harmon; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Betty Harmon.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.
Reba graduated from Belleville High School in 1951 and Lock Haven Teacher’s College in 1955. She then graduated from Penn State with a degree in elementary education. She taught at Union Elementary in Belleville for 25 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed golfing.
Reba was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she served as choir director for 45 years. She was a member of PSEA. She was the first scholarship winner at the VFW Post 5935, Belleville.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 @ St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3597 West Main Street, Belleville, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Sigler officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
Reba’s family would like to thank the staff and administration at Celebration Villa, Reedsville, Brookline Manor, Mifflintown, and Bristol Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
