Heather R. Carpenter

She was born on Aug. 18, 1969 in Lewistown, a daughter of Susan (Carpenter) Stull of Lewistown and the late Kenneth Miller.

Along with her mother, she is also survived by her fiancé, Joey L. Brumbaugh, of Belleville, as well as her children, Autum Carpenter and fiancé, Dustin Lash, of Coalport, Pa.; R. Scott Bonson, of Milroy and John Bonson, also of Milroy.

Heather graduated in 1988 from Midd West High School. She later obtained her LPN degree from Mifflin County Career & Technology Center in 2013. She was currently employed at Valley View Retirement Community in Belleville.

She loved the outdoors. She and Joey enjoyed going hiking as well as going on mountain rides together with her children. She also enjoyed going on day trips with her children especially anywhere there may be giraffes, as they were her favorite. She also was very fond of crocheting and has made many pieces to be shared with family and friends. Heather had the biggest heart and the sweetest soul and would do anything for anyone. She will be dearly missed.

Her viewing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 6880 SR 655, Reedsville, PA 17084.
