Douglas A. Kuykendall
Douglas A. Kuykendall, 57, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born on May 24, 1968, In Lewistown, he was the son of the late Vernon I. Kuykendall, and Pamela J. (Herto) Kuykendall, who survives.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, D.J. Kuykendall and companion, Candy, Lindsey Kuykendall, both of Lewistown; grandchildren, Ayden Bell, Eli DeArmitt; siblings, Robert Kuykendall, and Mallissa Kuykendall, both of Lewistown; nieces and nephews, Jackie, Lauren, Bobby, Christian, Alonnah.
He was a 1986 graduate of Lewistown High School.
Doug was a United States Army veteran.
Doug worked for Consolidated Construction Company and contributed as part of the crew that helped set up Lowes in Lewistown.
He was passionate about fishing and baseball, and enjoyed attending games. Doug was known for his love of socializing and his enthusiasm for debating sports topics with others.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at Lewistown Elks Lodge, 229 W. Third St., Lewistown.
Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, Lewistown.
