Bonnie J. Bigelow

She was born on Dec. 6, 1940, in Belleville, to the late Earl and Irene (Stroup) Stuter and step-mother, Esther K. Stuter.

On Dec. 6, 1959, she married Thomas C. Bigelow, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2019.

Surviving are children, Kelly A. Byler and husband Calvin of Belleville, Deidra J. Baker and husband Keith of Reedsville, and Thomas R. Bigelow and wife Amy J. of Lewistown; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Dennis E. Stuter of Belleville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Bigelow and husband Glenn, and sister-in-law, Doreen Stuter.

She graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1958. She was employed at New Holland, Boring Trucking, and did mail delivery in Belleville.

She enjoyed working in her flower beds and growing flowers. Bonnie loved spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belleville, where she sang in the choir.

There will be a graveside service at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Belleville, at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Mike Sigler officiating.
