John K. Goss Sr.

He was born on April 16, 1948 in Milroy, to the late Wilson and Beatrice (Gilbert) Goss. On Jan. 21, 1967, he married Ida J. (Heimbach) Goss, who survives at their home.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children: John K. Goss Jr., of Burnham, Michael J. Goss, of Yeagertown, William J. Goss, of Lewistown; grandchildren: Kirstie Goss and partner, Justin Rauch, Scott A. Goss Jr., and seven other grandchildren; great grandchild: Samara Rauch and eight other great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Goss and wife, Donna, of McVeytown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children: Scott A. Goss Sr., Gary Lee Goss, and brothers: Wilson Goss Jr., Leroy Goss, and Mark Goss.

He retired in 2013 from U.S. Concrete as a laborer.

He was a member of the Siglerville Lutheran Church.

John enjoyed doing woodworking projects. He also enjoyed making homemade Christmas cookies for his whole family.

At the family’s request, there will be no services.
