Evelyn L. Fultz

Born July 15, 1947, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Melvin L. and Alberta Sarah (Sweitzer) Pennepacker. On Aug. 24, 1968, she married David L. Fultz, who survives at their home.

Surviving is one sibling, John L. Pennepacker, Sr. and wife Barbara of Reedsville, sister-in-law, Helen Pennepacker of Lumber City and sister-in-law, Ruth Pennepacker of Barrville, as well as many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin L. ‘Penny’ Pennepacker, Jr., 1998, Frank W. Pennepacker, 2005, and Jesse J. Pennepacker, 2025 and one sister, Florence M. Pennepacker, 2021.

Over the years, she was employed at Red’s Diner, Hartman’s Center, the Milroy Post Office and Fisher Brother’s Inc.

She attended Barrville Mennonite Church, her faith being a constant comfort.

Evelyn enjoyed square dancing, loved watching Penn State Football, and sitting on the back porch with her husband watching the variety of birds that visited her bird houses and the squirrels, chipmunks, and ducks that would wander into the yard.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at Henderson-Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N Main Street, Reedsville, with Pastor Carl Geissinger officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy following the service.
