Samuel Robert ‘Bob’ Glick

Samuel Robert “Bob” Glick, 72, of Belleville, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on Aug. 27, 1952, in Lewistown, to the late Samuel E. and Edith J. (Heath) Glick Brower. On June 2, 1978, he married Kathy A. (Yoder) Glick, who survives.

Along with his wife, he is survived by children: Lyndsey A. Kramm and husband, Christopher, of Minden, NV; Samuel Benjamin Glick and wife, Elizabeth L. “Beth”, of Middlesex, NC; grandchildren: Samuel Asher Glick, Nora Ruth Glick, Mira Nayeli Glick, and Myles Santos Glick; sisters: Karen E. Warner, of Cocoa, FL and Arla Goss and husband, Richard “Rick”, of Ferguson Valley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Steven Warner.

He graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1970 and from Mifflin-Juniata County Vocational School, where he studied agriculture, and was a member of the FFA. He later went on to Bethel College in Newton, KS, where he continued Industrial Studies.

He was a life member of the Belleville Fire Company with 50+ years of service and a life member of Big Valley Ambulance Club with 40 years of service; a member of the Mennonite Historical Society, a member of the Spruce Pine Hunting Camp, and a member of Watt’s Memorial Methodist Church, where he served as a trustee. He also served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for a number of years; and was a life member of NRA.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with his family and extended family, as well as his annual beach vacations with family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan. He also enjoyed playing “Name that Tune” with anyone who would play along, and he enjoyed Clint Eastwood quote battles with his nephews. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, 99 Taylor Drive, Reedsville with Pastors Doug Pierce and Harold Sharp officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Union Township Activities Center, 95 N. Penn Street, Belleville.
