Kathy Jo Huss

Born on Sept. 7, 1950, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Arnold and Mary Elizabeth (Ellis) Arnold.

She is survived by her sons, Shannon L. Huss and his wife, Jennifer L. Cody of Bellefonte, Steuart Dare, Tristan Dare of Mifflintown and granddaughter, Kathryn Huss, as well as step-grandchildren Thomas Cody, Kimberly Cody and Genevieve Cody. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan K. Huss.

She was a 1968 graduate of Juniata Joint High School. Kathy also had obtained an Associate’s Degree from the Thompson Institute. She was employed as a voice mail systems operator for Verizon.

Kathy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, watching Steuart in soccer, taking Tristan fishing, and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, from Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.

A time of sharing will take place at 4:30 p.m. Interment will be private in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
