Doris E. Fowler

Born April 23, 1931, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Max and Elizabeth (Jones) Dippery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren C. “Shorty” Fowler, brothers, Bill and Joseph Dippery, and a sister, Lillian Dippery-Greenaway. She was the last of her immediate family.

Doris is survived by her children: David Fowler, Sr. and wife, Angela, of Ferguson Valley, Fern Fowler, of Lewistown, Danny Fowler, of Lewistown, and Gwen Brought, of Lewistown, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a Christian by faith, and she loved spending time with her family and friends, they all meant so much to her.

A funeral service in loving memory of Doris will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Doris will be buried in Maitland Cemetery.
