Susan M. DeArmitt
Susan M. DeArmitt, 65, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her home.
Born July 6, 1957, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Paul Goss and Arlene (Deamer) Shehan.
Susan is survived by her husband, John DeArmitt; and sister, Polly Goss-Bayerl.
She had a huge heart for animals, volunteering at Rescue Our Furry Friends for many years. Earlier in life, she was employed at Penn State University in administration for athletics, and most recently volunteered at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital gift shop.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
