Edith K. (Cassidy) Seby
Edith K. (Cassidy) Seby, 74, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Geisinger Hospital in Danville. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Seby, Sr. for 52 years before his passing in 2021.
Born on Sept. 28, 1948, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Alice (Havice) Cassidy. Before retiring, Edith worked at Brooklyn Hose Company. Her main focus in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Edith is survived by her children, Angela K. Stitt and husband, Brian, of Lewistown, and Ronald W. Seby, Jr. and wife, Julie, of McClure; grandchildren, Morgan N. Stitt, Hailey L. Seby, Madison K. Stitt, Brooke M. Wagner, and Saige E. Wagner; great grandchild, Brynley Kropnick, and sister, Deborah Penias. In addition to her husband and parents, Edith is preceded in death by her siblings, Frederick Cassidy, Jo Snyder, Susan Forshey, and Chris Cassidy.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Green Ave, Lewistown. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Lutz. King-Barr Funeral Home LLC is in charge of arrangements.
