Charlotte L. Leach

Born on Nov. 24, 1951, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is a daughter of the late Edgar and Jennie (Fritz) Slagle. On May 6, 1972, she married her surviving husband, Larry R. Leach, with whom she was blessed to share more than 51 years of marriage before her passing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jena M. Hommel and her husband, Shane, of Millerstown, and Jeremy M. Leach, of Mifflintown; and two grandchildren, Eliza J. Hommel and Miles O. Hommel.

She was a member and attended the Free Spring Church of the Brethren in Mifflintown.

Charlotte enjoyed traveling with her husband on bus trips and cruises, and shopping; however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her two grandchildren who she enjoyed attending their different events they were in.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Locust Run Cemetery, Thompsontown.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
