Spangler E. ‘Sonny’ Knepp Jr.

Born Dec. 11, 1957, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Spangler E. and Isabel I. (Seaholtz) Knepp Sr.

Also preceding him in death were four siblings: Martha Ross, Carol Snyder, Sandy Smith, and Joy Kahley.

Surviving are: four siblings, Bonnie Shawver of Longfellow, Timothy Knepp, of Mifflin, Mona Knepp, of Lewistown, Scott Knepp and wife, Charlotte, of Lewistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He previously worked at Skills of Central PA, Inc.

Sonny enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting aluminum cans, and spending time at the river in McVeytown.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Mattawana Cemetery in McVeytown.
