Driver cited after four-vehicle crash SHIRLEYSBURG — A Three Springs woman was cited for following too closely following a four-vehicle crash Aug. 1 on Croghan Pike in Shirley Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Huntingdon. Police said a 2023 Toyota Sequoia and a 1995 Toyota Camry were stopped behind a vehicle waiting to turn left onto Lenape Drive. From staff reports BELLEFONTE — Motorists traveling Interstate 80 eastbound will encounter overnight closures of the Bellefonte exit through Aug. 24 as work continues on the $259 million high-speed interchange project connecting I-80 and Interstate 99. From staff reports MILESBURG — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has placed a radar-controlled speed display board along Route 445 in Miles Township, Centre County, as part of an effort to reduce speeding and aggressive driving. The board faces southbound traffic between East 11th Street in Madisonburg and Hollow Drive in Miles Township, where the posted speed limit is 30 mph.
