Bob Lauver, left, presents McVeytown Borough Council President Steve Feathers with a framed reprint of ‘A Moment in Time’ during Tuesday’s council meeting. The painting depicts Lauver’s actions during the Battle of Hue in Vietnam on Jan. 30, 1968, for which he was awarded the Silver Star. The print will be displayed as part of the McVeytown Museum’s ‘McVeytown Military Service’ exhibit at the Rothrock Community Library.
