BALD EAGLE — One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 80 in Centre County that resulted in several vehicles catching fire, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview. Police said the crash occurred at about 3:32 p.m. on I-80 east near mile marker 163, before the merge point for a long-term construction zone near mile marker 164.8. A 22-year-old college student killed by Pennsylvania police responding to a possible burglary had just realized he was at the wrong home and was waiting for friends to come get him when he was shot, his father said Wednesday.
