PLEASANT GAP — The Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology will hold its annual Fall Open House and Food Truck Festival on Thursday, at its campus at 540 N. Harrison Road in Pleasant Gap. The open house will run from 4 to 7 p.m., while the food truck festival is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with approximately 12 vendors expected to participate. Woman dies following Snyder County crash

McCLURE — A 76-year-old Lewisburg woman died following a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Route 522 in Snyder County. According to Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove, Linda D. Farleman was attempting to pull her 2006 Dodge Caravan from a private driveway onto Route 522 when she entered the path of a southbound 2021 Toyota RAV4 driven by Robert E. Wilkinson Jr., 54, of Beavertown. The Toyota struck the left front of the Dodge, causing the Dodge to spin clockwise and come to rest in the northbound lane. The Toyota came to rest off the roadway.
