STATE COLLEGE — Mount Nittany Health has opened a new dermatology practice on Sandy Drive, consolidating its dermatology services at a larger location and adding Mohs surgery to its services. The 7,296-square-foot practice opened Aug. 31 and houses Mount Nittany Health’s dermatology team of Drs. Matthew Hazey, Lorraine Rosamilia and M. HARRISBURG — Fourteen people have been charged in an alleged check-fraud operation involving more than $1 million in attempted thefts from victims in Pennsylvania and other states, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced Friday. Investigators allege the group successfully obtained about $170,000 through the scheme, which targeted individuals, businesses and school districts. I-99 passing-lane closures to begin Monday

CLEARFIELD — Drivers traveling Interstate 99 near its connection with Interstate 80 should expect lane restrictions beginning Monday as construction continues on PennDOT’s $259 million high-speed interchange project. The left, or passing, lanes of I-99 northbound and southbound will close Monday, Sept. 21, while crews remove the concrete median. MIFFLINTOWN — A Middleburg man is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police allege he inappropriately touched a 13-year-old while attending a movie at the Midway Drive-In Theatre in Fermanagh Township in May 2025. Dylan Eugene Hoover, 34, of Middleburg, is charged with offenses including felony corruption of minors and misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, according to court records.
