One charged after two-vehicle crash in McVeytown McVEYTOWN — One man was charged as a result of a two-vehicle accident in Bratton Township on Saturday, June 13 just before 9:30 a.m. The State Police report states that David Lucci, 65, of Lewistown, was operating a 2018 Toyota Tacoma on River Road near the intersection with East John Street in McVeytown. Lucci did not stop his vehicle at the stop sign and proceeded to strike a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Terry Sunderland, 59, of McVeytown. A dangerous place: Know the dangers of boating

A weekend tragedy at a York County State Park highlights the dangers of boating, bad weather and failing to respect that conditions can change at a moment’s notice. Hopefully, by reviewing some of the factors, someone else can escape the same fate. According to available reports, a lone boater launched an unpowered vessel late in the day on Saturday, June 6 at Lake Marburg. Family notified authorities when the boater did not return home and a search commenced. The search ended June 9 with a call to the York County coroner’s office, which confirmed they had responded to the scene. ...
