Charges pending against area man for theft, drugs LEWISTOWN — Charges are pending against Levi T. Ryder, 30, address unknown, after Lewistown Police Department officers located him wearing a stolen pair of shoes and later found drug paraphernalia in his backpack. Police were called at 2:48 p.m. June 25 to the laundry facility at 205 S. Main St. for a theft suspect. A day earlier, a white male had reportedly taken $120 shoes from a porch on Marble Street. MIFFLINTOWN — A Juniata County family is facing an unimaginable challenge after a vacation in Florida turned into a life-altering tragedy when 11-year-old Brodie Dituri was seriously injured in an alligator attack.
